Archangel Metaton is one of only two archangels who were originally man, the other being his brother Sandalphon. He was the prophet Enoch, who ascended into heaven, was taught the "Book of Raziel" and interpreted it in his writing, "The Book of Enoch". His abilities as a scribe are noted in the book of Genesis.

Within the energetic field of Genesis Gateway Integration he is associated with "Soul Star", chakra 8, and in the Kabbalah Tree of life he sits at the Sephira Keter, or Crown. Keter threads into mankind through the third dimensional Crown Chakra. With this the energetic stream from God is connected to man.

His primary task among the heavenly court is to watch over children and maintain all enternal archives of heaven. Therefore he is one of the Archangels reside over the Akashic Records. His sigil translates to, "One who occupies the Throne next to the Divine Throne". He acutally sits next to Michael who sits to the right hand of God. Being Archangel Michael co-creates with the creator, sitting next to him is as if you were sitting next to God, for it is Archangel Raziel who sits to the left of God. Archangel Metatron's sigil, the Metatronic Cube, is connected to Sacred Geometry.
